| All around fishing boat? |
Question:
What would you recommend for your all around fishing boat? Living in South central Ontario, I like to fish for all kinds of fish, including
Bass, Northern Pike, Muskie, Trout, Salmon, Walley, and pan fish, although the 7 pound Gar pike I caught this summer was a real treat, and that was the first time I (sight) fished for Gar.
Answer:
I really like my Princecraft, although 19' is about as large as I'd want to go if you hit many small lakes. My uncle has a 17' version of mine and thoroughly enjoys his too. I fish for salmon, lake trout, walleye, perch, northerns, muskies, ciscoes and whitefish from it with no problems, mostly on the Great Lakes and connecting waters, but also on a few small inland lakes. It's been a very good reliable vessel. IIRC, it's also supposed to be the top selling aluminum boat in Canada.
