Berkley Trilene SensiThin
Question:
While cruising the Fishing Tackle Aisles looking for some new line, I came across something new to me, Berkley Trilene SensiThin Monofilament line. The "Price Gods" at Wal-Mart have it marked down to $4.49 for 6#, 330 yd. spool. I would be spooling this up on an ultra light spinning reel for trout fishing. Is anyone familiar with the strength/cast ability or other characteristics of this line.... your experiences with it? It would be great to know before I spooled-up and went fishing.

Answer:
I haven't used this line in your application or weight. However, my experience with 17lb and bassing was terrible. I have never seen a line break so easily in my life. Whether tying or trying to unhang a lure, snap! I like Berkeley products a lot, but sensithin will ever see the inside of my tackle box let alone the spool of my bait casters again. Your mileage may vary with spinning gear (but I'd be surprised if that were so :)
