Question:
What 'action' should I get? Light, Medium Light, Medium? I can't really pinpoint what fish I will be catching but I would be impressed if it was above 3lbs. I currently use 6lb. line on one spool and 4lb. line on another spool. I'm going to get a take-down rod if that makes any difference. I have always been foggy on what action really means; I figured action has something to do with the rod's strength and flexibility and how well it will cast lures of different weights. Oh yeah, I want the rod for casting lures around 1/16oz. maybe 1/32 and 1/8.

I usually reference a catalog which sells quality equipment for fisherman, hunters, archers, marksmen, campers, etc... Whatever you decide to do, you might want to request a "Spring Master Catalog" at least to look around at different lures once you get the rod.
