Question:
I've never properly been fishing before but it sounds interesting, can someone tell me if there's any good places to go in the south Yorkshire or north east Derbyshire area and how much it would approximately cost for a decent set of all the necessary fishing tackle. Are there any WebPages to look at for tips on how to fish? And are there any places where you can catch edible fish and take it home?

Can I just say this It will cost you a couple af hundred quid to get decent floats, rods, reels etc. If I was you I would buy a pole or a whip to begin with, I find it much easier. Find a venue which holds a big number of fish, then you have more chance of catching! Also if you know anyone who goes fishing, you should ask them to show you the basics, and when you have mastered the basics you can progress from there.
