| Fly fishing for bass |
Question:
I have never had a fly rod in my hand. I do think however, that I would like to try my hand at fly fishing for bass. I have no idea why, it just looks like a lot of fun. What brand of equipment would you recommend a beginning fly fisherman? I won't buy the cheap stuff, but I don't want to need a loan to buy any either. Any help is appreciated, as always.

I've bought two rod/reel combos this past year for catching bass. First off you'll need a 5-weight rod; it has enough backbone to fight them beauties. As for the tippet any fluorocarbon or even mono will work.
