| Best fly line for largemouth bass fishing |
Question:
Anyone have any opinion on what's the best fly line for largemouth bass fishing out on the market. I'm thinking of picking up 2 lines one floating and the some kind of sinking or shooting head.
Answer:
My advice is a standard weight forward, or an Orvis h.l.s.line.The weight forward is perfectly capable of turning over a size two (stinger)
Dahlberg diver, on a six weight rod, in a 20 mile per hour wind. Yeah,
it’s probably easier with a bass taper, but using a weight forward will make you a much better caster over time.
