| Light tackle inshore fishing in Cancun, MX in Feb |
Question:
My wife and I will be visiting Cancun during the 3rd week of February of this year.
I would like to do some light tackle inshore/flats fishing while I'm there.
Can anyone tell me what inshore species are available during Feb. in Cancun?
Also, I would appreciate any recommendations for guide services, and tackle recommendations.
Answer:
During February there are good snook and small tarpon fishing at Isles
Blanca, about 45 minutes away. A guide trip for two, including the transfer between hotel and lagoon goes for aprox $375.
