| Sage Discovery Series 2 Fly Fishing Outfits |
Question:
I'm thinking about upgrading from my 18 year old fiberglass rod to a graphite rod. I'm looking at the bottom line Sage outfits that include a 6 wt. rod, reel, line for around $350.
Has anyone had experience with this line of Sage rods? A guide and a few fishermen in my club use Sage rods and like them but they the more expensive
($500+) rods.

I wouldn't recommend one of these super-fast rods to anyone. I think that you will lose more fish, especially wet fly. They also make the fight far less fun. For sea trout fishing at night I have converted to much softer rods and lose far less. And yes, they roll and spay better.
