| Shimano or Penn reel for striper fishing |
Question:
I've bought two Penns in the past year and all I've had is problems with them breaking. On the other hand I have a Shimano Bait runner that's over 5 years old and I've only had one problem with it that was the anti-reverse kicking out. The bait runner feature is just plain awesome.

I use Shimano for my open faced reels and Penns for my trolling reels--
